Most of us probably have a few things we don’t expect ever to tell anyone, secrets we’ll take to the grave. For me, there are rather few of these, just one or two I can think of. For example, I am not aware that I have ever committed a crime.

No doubt many people are about like me in this respect; but others must be very different. This is the era of Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. There are people out there who must habitually, day after day, accumulate secrets they fold within.
