Every conversation I am in these days ends up on the topic of AI. Among many other worries, we fret about what it is doing to students’ ability to think.

I was musing on this as I cycled along and a student sped past me on an e-bike. Of course his legs were barely moving. I think e-bikes will now be my image of life for today’s Zoomers.
